Back at the end of the summer I got to spend a couple lovely days hanging out and painting signs at the inimitable @sundaycuisinecafe a fresh and clean little breakfast/lunch spot in Pointe-Saint-Charles. If you ever want to go to Miami for a nice healthy bite, but can’t spare the time or money, go here instead. It’s beautiful! The font they chose for 98% of these signs was definitely not intended to be hand painted, but Big Papa* always likes a good challenge. Turned out like a dream. Big thanks to the crew at @sundaycuisinecafe for all the lovely treats, and for introducing me to my new favourite breakfast wrap of all time. It ruined all other wraps for me xoxoxo *I’m Big Papa

Got to spend a few days at @lecafebloom recently, sprucing the place up for the NEXT twelve years. I was unreasonably excited to discover 100 year old metal flowers already included in the architecture; they quickly became the visual foundation for all that came after. A wonderful and cozy little spot serving up spectacular food & drinks & community vibes. Big thanks to the whole crew for all the iced coffees and breakfast sammies….. without them I never would have made it xo #cafebloom #mrsign
